How These Shortcuts Work

Let’s be honest, you’re on the move a lot.

And you need a way to capture stories, write emails, and knock out quick donor tasks wherever you are.

These shortcuts run inside Apple’s built-in Shortcuts app and help you complete small but meaningful stewardship actions — quickly, consistently, and without the mental load.

Each shortcut walks you through a specific task, saves your work to a dedicated Notes folder, and keeps everything simple, fast, and easy to repeat.

An Overview of Your Shortcuts

Stewardship Side Quest Generator

Have a spare 5, 15, or 30 minutes? Make it count.

Choose your time, get step-by-step instructions, and knock out a meaningful stewardship task without the overwhelm.

⚡️ How it works:
This shortcut uses the Notes app and the timer function.

It also requires three helper shortcuts — the 5 min, 15 min, and 30 min “Quest” Dictionary tools. Each of these must be downloaded for the generator to work.

Big or small, every impact moment matters — capture it while it’s fresh.

This shortcut helps you quickly save the stories, quotes, and wins you don’t want to forget

This shortcut uses the Notes app to store your story captures.

No other shortcuts required. It can work independently as a story library.

Story in Your Pocket

Turn rough notes into something you actually want to share.

Pulling from stories in your Capture your Story Shortcut, this shortcut transforms your idea into an email, talking points and everything in between.

⚡️ How it works:

This shortcut uses the Notes app and ChatGPT to shape your story. It pulls in the raw notes you’ve captured using Capture Your Story, so you’ll need that shortcut installed for everything to work properly.
